At Kai Birds, we believe that regular check-ups, blood work, and disease testing are essential for the health and happiness of our flock, and for maintaining a well-run aviary. Here, you can find the most up-to-date environmental and disease reports for all our feathered family members.
The room where your baby bird hatches and spends their first two months is routinely tested for the three most common avian diseases — Psittacine beak and feather disease (PBFD), Polyomavirus, and zoonotic Psittacosis. Additionally, all our breeding birds are tested for PBFD and Polyomavirus, ensuring that every baby from the Kai Birds program is free from these incurable diseases.
For your peace of mind, we also offer a variety of disease tests for your baby at the request of future families. This includes tests for Chlamydia, which is often required for houses with in-home daycare, and many more. You can view the full list of tests available here:
